Today we offer an invitation to all members and friends of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Springfield Missouri to join in saying BLACK LIVES MATTER.

We are creating a video of our community speaking the names of some of the black people who have been killed by police or civilians engaged in vigilantism.

This project is *one way* that the congregation (members and friends) of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Springfield Missouri can uphold and shed light on the unjust policing practices that disproportionately result in the deaths of black Americans. 

Instructions for participation are HERE. We are going to be asking each of you to record ONE NAME and the phrase “Black Lives Matter”. As soon as you choose your name please put your own name next to it so that we don’t have duplications. In order to edit project together in a timely manner, we are going to need to receive these clips by 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 3rd.
